FART Club â?? Fighting Against Red Tape (www.fartclub.co.uk) is a new campaigning website and Club being officially launched by â??middle Englandâ?? character Baggy Saunders on October 4th to challenge the increasing interference in every aspect of our daily lives. To launch this campaigning club a red themed launch party is being held on Saturday 4th October 2008 at the Stratford upon Avon Armouries Museum, a new attraction that has had to fight through Red Tape in its formation and which symbolises the battle against bureaucracy. The gathering of FARTâ??s founding supporters includes â?? individuals, businesses, politicians and performers such as comic and â??shenaniganistâ??, Tim Fitzhigham and legendary bluesman and free spirit Giles Hedley.FART Club will create a draw of all members who join between now and October 2nd and 25 will be invited to the launch party. Forum authors of the five best new ideas for campaign themes will also be invited to the launch along with celebrity guests and the media.FART club â??honoursâ?? are being sent to champions of freedom, including newspaper columnists, radio and TV presenters, and politicians. On the list is Ross Clark, the author of â??How to label a Goatâ??, a book about all the silly rules and regulations that are strangling Britain.Clark said:â?? I warmly welcome the arrival of FART in the ongoing battle against petty and contradictory legislation. May your campaign create a strong wind that will blow through Whitehall and the nationâ??s town halls.â??Inspirational Fart founder Baggy said:â?? The website will unite people who are sick and tired of interference in their daily lives. Everywhere we go we are watched by cameras and more and more information is being collected on databases which are insecure. Businesses are stifled with rules and regulations and even the police and Health Service are groaning under the weight of central regulation. Red Tape did nothing to curb the excesses of the financial institutions but it is ruining the lives of ordinary people everywhere. Even our traditional refuge the pub is being driven out of business and you canâ??t smoke a fag anywhere. Itâ??s time to create a stink and this is where FART comes in.â??
