Cath Kidston and Tesco are set to launch a range of eco-bags in a bid to help shoppers cut down on their plastic bag consumption. The initiative hopes to raise a minimum of £250,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care - which will help fund an additional 12,500 hours of nursing care at home for terminally ill patients and their families throughout the UK. The first two designs of the collection â?? the â??multi floral fashionâ?? print and the â??classic blue spotâ?? print - will be launched early in July followed by four more prints over a six-month period. The stunning range of collectable, re-usable eco shopping bags are made entirely of recycled plastic (PET) bottles and will be available in larger Tesco stores across the UK. Further designs include the â??shopping stripeâ??, the â??ottoman roseâ?? (pictured) and the â??classic floralâ??. Charitable giving, greener shopping and getting to look fabulous in the process â?? what more could an ethical consumer ask for?
